Social event

Someone had so much fun on Boxing Day, he wants to do it again. So here's the next social event...

The inaugural Andrew McCreery Lunch will be held on Jan 3rd (first day of the second Test) at Dingley Sports Club, commencing at 10.30am. Entrees will be served at about 11.30am, with lunch at 12.30pm. In a mark of respect to our under-performing overseas cricketing visitors, the lunch menu will be curry, curry and more curry.

Cost will be $10. For catering purposes, let me know via e-m to dfitch@tpg.com.au or via the club's facebook page asap if you are going to attend.

Just a reminder that Jan 3rd is also the first day of senior practice after the break.

Bowling machine for hire

The club's bolwing machine can be hired over the holidays by any club member. Cost is $20 per hour.

Player sponsors

A reminder to all players that they should try to organise a player sponsor. Player sponsorship is $50 for juniors and $100 for seniors.

All sponsored players will get their photo and their sponsor details on to the sponsor display monitor in the Dingley Sports Club for the entire season.

Payment can be made online when you register, in person on registration day, or anytime up until the start of the season.

Registration Day 2011/2012

Registrations for Senior, Concession, Junior and Milo in2Cricket will be accepted on Saturday, September 3rd from 9.00am until 11.00am at the Dingley Sports Club.

Online registration is also available for all membership types. Our preference is for people to register online. Go to the Links page and follow the links to the required membership registration page.

Fees will be

  • Senior - $250 (includes one Presentation Night ticket)
  • Concession  - $150 (under 18 as at 31/08/11, full time student, concession card holder playing senior cricket)
  • Junior - $150 (first child in the family)
  • Junior - $130 (each subsequent child from the same family)
  • Milo in2Cricket - $65

If registering in person, payment can only be made by cash or cheque.

Registrations will close when all teams are filled. Ensure you register early to secure a place. Some people missed a place in the 2010/2011 season due to late registration.
